Eneteq supplies and installs products manufactured by Powerpipe Systems AB, Sweden’s largest preinsulated pipe manufacturer. They are constructed as a bonded system using a steel service pipe surrounded by polyurethane foam enclosed in an impact-proof polyethylene casing. These combined elements form a rigid structure with no relative movement between the internal steel pipe and external polyethylene casing.

Straight and curved pipe and pipe fittings – horizontal, vertical and bespoke bends, T-pieces, valves etc. are delivered as standard with two copper alarm wires for connection to an electronic moisture surveillance system Eneteq can also provide, commission and maintain to ensure the design life expectancy of the installed system is achieved.

All components conform to the following BS EN Standards:

  • BS EN 253:2009 District heating – Preinsulated bonded pipe systems for directly buried hot water networks – Pipe assembly of steel service pipe, polyurethane thermal insulation and outer casing of polyethylene.
  • EN 448:2009 District heating – Preinsulated bonded pipe systems for directly buried hot water networks – Fitting assemblies of steel service pipes, polyurethane thermal insulation (PUR) and outer casing of polyethylene (PE).
  • EN 488:2011 District heating – Preinsulated bonded pipe systems for directly buried hot water networks – Steel valve assembly for steel service pipes, polyurethane thermal insulation (PUR) and outer casing of polyethylene (PE).
  • EN 489:2009 District heating – Preinsulated bonded pipe systems for directly buried hot water networks – Joint assembly for steel service pipes, polyurethane thermal insulation (PUR) and outer casing of polyethylene (PE).
  • EN 15698-1:2009 District heating system – Pre-insulated bonded twin pipe systems for directly buried hot water networks – Twin pipe assembly of steel service pipe, polyurethane thermal insulation and outer casing of polyethylene (PE).
  • EN 14419:2009 District heating system – Surveillance systems
